Social Media Account Executive:
Bonnie Heneson Communications, a full-service marketing/public relations/advertising agency has immediate opening for an experienced Social Media Account Executive. The ideal candidate will create and support social media campaigns, maintain and expand existing social media communities and increase engagement as well as provide content updates for client websites. The candidate should be comfortable working in a versatile, fast-paced environment and preferably have experience in a business school or higher education setting.
Write, edit, post, monitor and respond to content for various social media channels (such as Twitter and Facebook)
Review, monitor, collect and report analytics for social media accounts
Monitor social media and industry news and trends to help clients remain competitive in their fields
Educate clients on best practices for social media
Continually monitor news in designated topic areas; devise ways to tie clients to relevant developments in current events
Develop and execute content-distribution strategies and channels
Serve as website producer, ensuring consistency of website content and strategy across digital properties
Participate in client events and activities, posting real-time content to inform and engage
Regularly audit digital content and develop strategies and production timelines to keep content fresh and timely
Define and manage SEO/SEM strategies
Develop and manage metrics reporting and analysis of the website performance and online communications effort
Perform other marketing duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree preferably in English, journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or related field
One to three years of professional experience
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
Experience in digital communications and/or interactive project management with an agency, corporation or nonprofit organization
Proficient with Photoshop and/or InDesign
Ability to write HTML and/or experience using WordPress
Proficiency with social media monitoring and aggregator tools
Superior writing, editing and research skills and ability to work individually and in groups to meet goals
Experience with Google AdWords and/or paid social media
Experience integrating social media campaigns with eCRM, web and digital media efforts
Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
