BHC works with Howard County General Hospital and the Howard Hospital Foundation to develop their quarterly newsletter, which is distributed to families in Howard and surrounding counties. Utilizing onsite photography that BHC coordinates, the newsletter is filled with feature articles that educate the public on relevant health topics while promoting hospital physicians, service lines and/or technology. The newsletter further serves as a marketing tool by providing information about events and programs.
Targeting its internal audience, Doctors Community Hospital enlisted BHC to help develop its monthly staff newsletter. In addition to editing content, BHC uses its knowledge of the inner workings of the hospital to ensure that information is accurate and includes any relevant graphic elements that the agency has created for various service lines and initiatives.
BHC developed a look for the Laurel Regional Hospital Foundation’s wine tasting & art sale event. This look was utilized throughout all the event-related print materials including electronic invitations, signage and the event program.
To thank their physicians for all they do, Doctors Community Hospital holds an annual Doctors Day event. After DCH selected the theme for the event, BHC strategized and developed an overall look that showcased Maryland agriculture and DCH’s green initiatives, while highlighting the key points about this event for physicians.
To educate staff and encourage enthusiasm for the hospital’s investment in new technology, BHC developed an eye-catching flier.
To educate new residents in the Prince George’s County community, BHC developed a direct mail card for Metropolitan Medical Specialists. In addition to featuring a group photo of the physicians in the practice, the direct mail card features key selling points of the practice as well as a magnet that serves as a leave behind that potential patients can reference. BHC coordinates a monthly mailing of these direct mail cards to those who recently moved into the area.
Often hospitals want the opportunity to educate patients about the services provided by a particular department. Advertorials provide a unique opportunity to present potential patients with information that could be part of an editorial, however it gives them control over the wording and visuals that are key to the presentation. In order to support The Sleep Center at Doctors Community Hospital’s drowsy driver awareness initiative, BHC developed an advertorial that ran in Good Housekeeping and Redbook that was both informative and visually striking.
Physicians are a core demographic of any hospital’s marketing efforts. In that vein, BHC works with Doctors Community Hospital to develop its physician newsletter to ensure that these key personnel are in the know about hospital initiatives, key changes, new staff, and important events.
BHC created a full-scale branding identity package for The Center for Ear, Nose & Throat at Doctors Community Hospital. This logo was then utilized to brand all print materials, advertising, practice collateral and signage for the center.
In order to increase Doctors Regional Cancer Center patient volume, BHC developed an ad specifically targeting the referring physician market, running in an industry-specific publication and including relevant information to physicians.
