BHC works with Howard County General Hospital and the Howard Hospital Foundation to develop their quarterly newsletter, which is distributed to families in Howard and surrounding counties. Utilizing onsite photography that BHC coordinates, the newsletter is filled with feature articles that educate the public on relevant health topics while promoting hospital physicians, service lines and/or technology. The newsletter further serves as a marketing tool by providing information about events and programs.
Targeting its internal audience, Doctors Community Hospital enlisted BHC to help develop its monthly staff newsletter. In addition to editing content, BHC uses its knowledge of the inner workings of the hospital to ensure that information is accurate and includes any relevant graphic elements that the agency has created for various service lines and initiatives.
As a key element of Monarch Academy’s recruitment effort, BHC develops a four-page newsletter that presents specific examples of the implementation and success of the school’s unique curriculum and environment. The newsletter, which is part of an award-winning marketing campaign to launch the school, also features comments from current parents and promotes upcoming events to encourage potential families to attend and enroll.
Physicians are a core demographic of any hospital’s marketing efforts. In that vein, BHC works with Doctors Community Hospital to develop its physician newsletter to ensure that these key personnel are in the know about hospital initiatives, key changes, new staff, and important events.
BHC works with The Children’s Guild to develop their newsletter, which is distributed to parents, staff and administration, donors, and referral sources three times a year as well as posted online. Utilizing onsite photography that BHC coordinates, the newsletter is filled with information about events, programs and relevant information for all target audiences. By sharing key selling points of the organization and using personal connections to feature stories whenever possible, this newsletter is a powerful fundraising and marketing piece for The Children’s Guild.
Twice a year, BHC develops a comprehensive newsletter for the Sisters of Bon Secours. This newsletter features the current activities and initiatives of the sisters, Bon Secours Health System, and related ministries that are a part of the Sisters of Bon Secours. Using compelling visuals and artfully written stories, BHC develops this marketing tool to help the Sisters of Bon Secours inform constituents and potential members about the Congregation.
Nothing encourages existing donors to continue giving and inspire potential donors to start like seeing the rewards of the time, money and effort that past donors have given. That logic is the basis for Howard Hospital Foundation’s Development News, which BHC designed. This newsletter, which is also adapted to send to existing and potential donors as well as key local contacts via email, features stories and photos that speak to the good work done by the foundation and the hospital as well as opportunities to support these efforts.
