If you need to take your project from creation to completion, BHC specializes in full-service campaigns that employ a multi-pronged approach to successful results.
Check out some examples of BHC’s comprehensive campaigns:
Monarch Academy Public Charter School
The Children’s Guild Institute contracted BHC to help with the launch of a new public charter school in Glen Burnie, Md. As Monarch Academy would be only the second public charter school in Anne Arundel County, BHC was tasked to educate parents of all socio-economic levels, community leaders, elected officials, educators and other decision makers about charter schools and the value of having Monarch Academy in the community. In addition, BHC’s integrated approach needed to include a call to action, encouraging parents of children going into kindergarten, first and fifth grades to apply for admission. Initial enrollment goals for the 2009–2010 school year were 75 kindergarten students, 75 first-grade students and 60 fifth-grade students.
Howard Hospital Foundation’s Symphony of Lights
Founded in 1992, the Howard Hospital Foundation (HHF) is a private, non-profit organization in Columbia, MD entrusted to provide philanthropic support of Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Each year HHF hosts the Symphony of Lights (SOL), a dazzling holiday display of more than 70 larger-than-life light creations. “Drive Throughs” are offered nightly from November to January, with four special events (Dazzle Dash, Blinkin’ Binkies, Tail Lights, Midnight at 7) providing additional fundraising possibilities. A community tradition for more than a decade, SOL is a major fundraiser for the Hospital, with more than 1,300,000 individuals visiting the lights in 355,194 vehicles throughout its 16-year history.
Stanford Grill
Blue Ridge Restaurant Group, headquartered in Howard County, Md., owned five restaurants located in Florida, Virginia and Maryland before opening its sixth restaurant, Stanford Grill, on May 24, 2010. The restaurant group returned to Howard County to open Stanford Grill, which features distinct, chef-inspired American entrees in an upscale casual atmosphere. BHC coordinated Stanford Grill’s VIP reception May 22, 2010 as well as promoted its opening in the media with a press preview May 21, 2010 and significant media efforts preceding and following the preview. We targeted residents of Howard County, where Stanford Grill opened, followed by Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Located between both cities, Howard County supports many professionals who commute to Baltimore and Washington.
