Bonnie Heneson is president of Bonnie Heneson Communications (BHC), leading the team with more than 30 years experience in marketing communications, public relations and advertising. She has been a communications consultant and expert to organizations along the Baltimore-Washington corridor, nationally and internationally, in a range of industries including health care (health systems, hospitals, nursing homes and physician practices), religious, education, nonprofit, real estate and service industries (insurance, accounting, legal), among others.
She formed BHC in August 1990 and continues to manage the firm’s staff, cultivate new business for the agency and direct all account services.
Prior to opening BHC, Bonnie was vice president of Philip Willen Associates, a full-service advertising and public relations firm. She managed a staff of 18 and coordinated the public relations/advertising function for major health care and non-profit organizations.
Bonnie is known throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area for her long history of community involvement. Recognized as both a civic leader and entrepreneur, Bonnie has served as president of the Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Chamber of Commerce, and was named three times to Maryland's Top 100 Women and was inducted into its Circle of Excellence. Bonnie earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Goucher College in Towson, Md.
