BHC Recognized for Creativity in Design and Advertising
Owings Mills/Columbia, Md.—Bonnie Heneson Communications (BHC), a full-service marketing communications firm, received the 2010 Summit Creative Award as well as two Aster Awards. BHC was chosen for the Summit Creative Award from thousands of submissions from 24 countries. Likewise, the Aster Awards Program is an elite competition that recognizes health care marketing professionals for excellence in advertising.
The silver Aster Award was given to BHC in the internal advertising campaign category for an internal campaign for Doctors Community Hospital that included checklists, newsletters and giveaways to educate the staff. BHC was also awarded the bronze Aster Award for an advertising campaign for the Joslin Diabetes Center at Doctors Community Hospital.
The BHC-designed "Setting Sail for the Future" annual report won bronze in the Summit Creative Award competition for the nonprofit/government annual report category. The Children's Guild annual report features hand-drawn illustrations of children participating in extracurricular activities, reading, studying and doing school work.
The 2010 Aster Awards received more than 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. The criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
