Bonnie Heneson Receives Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise Award

Owings Mills/Columbia, Md.—Bonnie K. Heneson, president of Bonnie Heneson Communications, was selected to receive a Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise Award. In its fourth year, the program recognizes outstanding women and minority business owners in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia.

Heneson founded Bonnie Heneson Communications, a full-service public relations, marketing and advertising agency with offices in Owings Mills and Columbia, Md. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field. Heneson is a three-time recipient of The Daily Record's Top 100 Women Award, a SmartCEO Bravo! Award winner and a board member of Network 2000. In addition, she received the Industry Leader Award for Communications from the YWCA of Central Maryland. Heneson lives in Owings Mills.

A panel of judges chose Heneson from 1,400 nominations. Selection was based on entrepreneurs who demonstrated outstanding achievement in four key areas: entrepreneurship, client satisfaction, professional and community contributions. The awards ceremony will take place Nov. 15 at the Inn and Conference Center at University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, Md.
