Andrew Aldrich, Vice President

Andrew Aldrich joined BHC in 2008 and has a proven track record for earning media coverage to raise awareness and further strengthen the brand and reputation of BHC’s clients. He brings more than 15 years of experience writing for the media, businesses and nonprofit organizations as well as creating and implementing comprehensive, award-winning media communications campaigns.

As a media relations expert, Andrew prepares client announcements for the media and identifies and pitches story ideas, which can appear on the front page of newspapers or highlighted on the evening news. Andrew builds relationships with members of the media, leads media relations strategy, supports crisis communications and provides media training for clients. In 2020, Andrew was promoted to vice president of the agency and plays a hands-on role in managing agency operations with President and CEO Kyri Jacobs.

Andrew joined BHC as an account executive, where he handled copywriting, collateral development, project management and client relations. Prior to joining BHC, Andrew served in the public information office of county government and wrote for a community newspaper. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Grove City College.

Emma Day, Director of Digital Media and Strategy

Emma Day manages BHC’s client accounts and specializes in social media strategy and management, website development, digital marketing and content creation. She joined BHC in 2017 as a social media account executive.

Previously, she worked as the communications and program coordinator for the nonprofit ORANS and its parent company, Baltimore Mediation, where she managed both companies’ websites and social media. She also maintained the companies’ blogs, regularly writing articles and creating content.

Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in sociology from Goucher College in 2015.

Yenneca Ketzis, Director of Publications

Yenneca Ketzis joined BHC in 2016 and is a highly skilled marketing professional with more than 20 years of communications experience. Her expertise includes web and print content creation, project management, branding, campaign development, information design, graphic design and event planning. She is versed in a range of communications solutions and technologies.

Prior to joining BHC, Yenneca directed community affairs for Waterside Plaza in New York City. She created newsletters, ad campaigns and social media content and produced a range of special events. Previously, she directed marketing and public relations for Stepping Out Dance Studios in New York City.

Yenneca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and mass communications from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.

Kyri Jacobs, President and CEO

Kyri L. Jacobs joined BHC in 1992 and has spent nearly 30 years as a communications, public relations, advertising, media and marketing professional. She has provided counsel and led major campaigns for many of BHC’s largest clients throughout Maryland. As owner of the agency, she is integral in the company, successfully managing agency operations for the past 20 years.

Prior to joining BHC, Kyri worked for the Pennsylvania-based Ohio Valley General Hospital. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh.

Kim Miller, Executive Assistant

An avid volunteer, Kim has been a Service Unit Manager for Girl Scouts, Vice President for the Mt. Hebron Viking Backers, chaired several fundraisers and was a founding member of the Women In Tech club at Howard Community College. The variety of roles Kim has held provided her the expertise needed to join BHC and support our staff and various clients’ needs.

Prior to joining BHC, Kim managed an all-women’s gym in Catonsville, was an Inside Sales Representative for the European territory of a document and x-ray scanner manufacturer, and worked in accounting for several years. Kim graduated with honors from Howard Community College with a degree in Web Development.

Amanda Heilig, Senior Graphic Designer

Amanda has been a part of the BHC team since 2010. In her role, Amanda manages the development, execution and print production of numerous client design projects. She has worked on print and editorial collateral, branding, websites and digital advertisements that illustrate both her creativity and knowledge of our clients and their target audiences.

Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in visual communication design and a minor in marketing from Stevenson University.
