COLUMBIA, Md.—Bonnie Heneson Communications (BHC), a full-service marketing communications firm, received a Gold Aster Award for the 2020 Directory of Physicians the agency created for Howard County General Hospital.

The Directory of Physicians is a 100-page publication distributed annually to Howard County residents that BHC writes and coordinates production, listing 1,000 physicians who practice at Howard County General Hospital representing over 100 specialties and subspecialties.

“Gathering and presenting the detailed and ever-changing health provider information is challenging, but it’s important and beneficial work that we’re proud to spearhead for Howard County General Hospital,” said Kyri Jacobs, CEO of Bonnie Heneson Communications. “It’s especially rewarding to be recognized with a Gold Aster Award.”

The Aster Awards program recognizes health care marketing professionals across the nation. A panel of design and health care marketing professionals judge submissions based on creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
